Uncanny X-Men #110: X-Men vs Phone Repair Guy

The comic starts with our first "X-Men playing team sports with super-powers" moment. Moira goes inside to wait for a phone repairman. But uh-oh! the phone repair guy is a villain named Warhawk that is there to screw things up. He tranqs Moira and goes to the Danger Room to do some stuff to it. He also receives a mental message that if he messes up, his sanity will go bye bye.

The X-Men finish up their game, and Cyclops decides it is time for Danger Room practice. Jean decides to stay out of it as she talks to Xavier saying she isn't sure she wants to rejoin the X-Men. Warhawk gets the drop on them and sleeping gasses them both. How he snuck up on two telepaths? Who knows.

The rest of the team discovers they are locked in the Danger Room and it is going on full. Cyclops has Nightcrawler teleport himself and Wolverine out into the hall, but the stress of teleporting someone else knocks both of them out. Things get bad but Wolverine wakes up in time to shut off the Danger Room's power. Warhawk attacks, our mandated once an issue scuffle happens, Cyclops breaks everyone out, and they win the day.

Warhawk is taken off by the authorities, and Jean Grey decides she does need to rejoin.

X-Tra Notes: Who sent Warhawk isn't really talked about for a bit. This comic is honestly forgettable and I am struggling to think of anything to write here other than "Meh".
