Marvel Team-Up #100: Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four team-up and deal with Karma taking control of Spider-Man to try to tackle her corrupt Uncle and twin brother to save her two younger siblings. Eventually, the FF and Spider-Man realize that Karma is not a baddy, and team up with her to save the little ones.
Marvel Team-Up #117: Spider-Man and Wolverine team up to fight Professor Power. With that dumb name you would think it would be easy. They end up both confronted by Power and his weird Roman inspired robot soldiers, and he gives them a tricky problem: They can save a town, save a prison, or find the center of the castle to find him. Wolverine wants to abandon the prison and attack him while Spidey saves the town. Spidey chooses to save the prison to force Wolverine to save the town. They both succeed, and while they were gone the castle has vamoosed.
Marvel Team-Up #118: After the last issue, Professor X goes to meet Professor Power (who we don't know was the villain from last time, and gives Spidey a ride back into town on the way. Spidey gets his tingly though and enters after Prof to investigate. Turns out Power wanted Professor X to heal his mentally unwell son. There is a bunch of fighting, but in the end, Power forcing Professor X into trying to help his son permanently ruined his son's mind. Oof.
Marvel Team-Up #124: With his son now a vegetable, Power decides to have his mind put in his son's younger, healthier body. Cause that is sane. Now he wants to take revenge on Xavier. At the same time, Beast is meeting up with his parents who haven't seen him since he got blue and furry. His mom is really really an asshole about it. Anyway Power goes to attack Beast as he means to go after all the original X-Men to hurt Professor X. Spidey happens on the scene and we get a big battle. Right as Power is about to kill Beast, his mom runs out and begs him to leave her son alone. He hesitates, and Spidey brings him down.
X-Tra Notes: Honestly the Professor Power thing was... fine but ultimately whatever. Issue #100 was important though for introducing Karma.
